Barbarian (July 2001)

This interview was conducted with a one man Black Metal band from California in July 2001.


1.) A brief synopsis of the projects history/contributing members/release history
BARBARIAN was put on to listening form in 2001,there is one ghoul in this band but
the tortued spirits of many drive him.There are 2 releases out on self titled,and second fetal jesus dissection.


2.) Give some general thoughts on the inspiration behind the music.
Insperartion behind BARBARIAN is hate,murder,and lost souls.Bands that influenced me are NECROPHAGIA,OLD MAYHEM,JUDAS ISCARIOT,VENOM,BATHORY,BURZUM,AND MIGHTY DARKTHRONE,AND ALSO CELTIC FROST/HELLHAMMER.


3.) Some specifics on your sound.
My sound is raw,under produced heavy fucking guitars,i want to capture horror and hate in my sound,very sick shit.


4.) what does your music portray or represent?
My "music" represents hate for christianity, and the many other things in this life that i want to destroy..


5.) What is your opinion on the state of the underground situation?
The Underground seems strong i have met many sick dedicated ghouls and it seems promising.


6.) What is coming up for this project over the next 1-2 years?
In the years to come i just want to make hateful music,and have people listen to it and want to make hateful music of
there own.

Christianity needs to fall religion and god was created by man,so it must fall by man,this religion has killed and raped many people and still its accepted by people,fuck this shit, threw blackmetal i find my soul can rest,threw extreme metal i can live.This art of darkness is not to be fucked with,it can be destructive if you are a weak human, and this is why i love it only the strong heathens can handle this art,like the christpigs the weak always fall.
